Types of Labels

We pride ourselves on the quality and speed we can turn around your labels. We offer the full range of labels from small run digital prints through to large run fanfolded product labels. Take a look at the various sorts of labels we can provide.

  • Roll Labels

    Roll labels available in small or large rolls suitable for hand application or automatic machine application. Available on a wide range of cores packed to your specific requirements. Wrapping and bags are available for clean environments to reduce dust.

  • Digital

    We can produce high quality labels on a wide range or materials finished with varnish or laminate. Our 7 colour digital press allows us to use white inks and spot colours where required. For small and medium orders with no origination costs we can print multiple sorts with little or no additional cost. Whether it’s one label or 100 different labels, this is an ideal method for your label needs. We also offer a competitive press proofing service useful for approvals or trial runs at competitive rates.

  • Multilayer Labels

    Wet Peel (peel and reseal) and Dry Peel (coupon) labels are available, printed up to four colour process on all sides, including variable or random data on one side only. Inline Cold foil is also an option for your consideration. We can produce small to medium runs through our digital press and medium to large orders conventionally through our flexo presses.

  • Fan Fold Labels

    Fanfolded labels, both with sprockets to fit your dot-matrix printer or without. Tell us the finished web width and pack size you require and we will finish to your individual specifications.

  • Sheeted Labels

    Sheeted labels, normally A4 or A5 suitable for your laser/copier or inkjet machines. These can be plain or pre-printed (including overall colour washes). Available in various paper & synthetic materials including special materials for cryogenic.

  • Window Stickers

    Window stickers are available on self cling static vinyl or peelable adhesive. A range of print options are available from printed one side only to four colour process both sides with light blocking opaque silver PE material between each print side.

  • Thermal Labels

    Whether you require an economical desk top printer such as a dymo or tlp2844, or a high speed industrial printer (for example Zebra ZM400/800 or Toshiba SX4/5/6 & 8) we offer competitive prices and service contracts. We also supply all consumables, ribbons and print heads. Please ask for details.

  • Tags & Tickets

    Tags and tickets for both retail and other market sectors are available in singles, fan fold packs and in reels to suit all of your needs. Printed or plain with or without shoulder cuts or punched holes. We supply paper card tags and tickets and also offer synthetic water resistant materials in a range of weights/thicknesses.

Adrian has been working on accounts in the food industry, through engineering and finance. His project management skill is second to none and you’ll love dealing with him.

Paul
Managing Director

Paul has been here since the very beginning. He set up speedworks in 1983 working with clients such as Jaeger, where he competed a full print audit of their functional print needs, Rolls Royce and – Paul has seen the rise and decline of continuous stationery, through conventional litho printing and has progressed the company into label management and digital printing.

Studio Manager

As Studio Manager, David checks all artwork to ensure it is correct and that there are no issues when your job goes on press.

David has a keen eye for detail; he takes pride in every job and has worked with clients including Dairy Crest and other food industry leaders, and leading financial services groups.
