Labels Management

 Managing the self adhesive label requirements of our customers has become a real passion of ours, and our customers know that we are competitive on all label types, we get the job done on time and we plan it through properly - we’re sure you know that labels management is a skill.

And the reason it’s such a skill is because there are so many elements to consider when producing a label. You don’t just need to know the size and number of colours to be printed on the label, you need to know:-

• The presentation of the label – wide edge leading or narrow edge leading and which side comes off the reel first.
• Are the labels outside wound or inside wound?
• Are the labels produced on reels, fanfold or singles?
• What is the core size?
• Will the label be overprinted by the customer?  If so, by thermal transfer or direct thermal?
• What is the label to be used for? This will determine the material to be used, the type of adhesive and the backing sheet.
• Are there any special finishes – eg lamination?
• Does the reverse need printing?

In addition to producing a huge range of printed labels and plain labels, we can produce tags and swing tickets (plain or printed tags, on basic card, tyvek or robust plastics, with brass eyelets, stringing, die cut, laminated).

To complete the process, we supply thermal ribbons - wax, wax/resin and full resin thermal ribbons - just let us know the width and the length required, together with your printer make/ model and we'll do the rest.
