Speed Works is a family run printing business based in Elton just outside Peterborough. We have been operating since 1983. In fact we still have some of those original customers! From that you will gather we pride ourselves in building a strong, long lasting relationship with you. Once you’ve decided we’re the company for your printing needs you will quickly understand that we take looking after you very seriously.

Printed Labels
We produce high quality competitively priced printed labels on reels, fanfolds, single-cut and sheets. Our attentive customer service and rigorous quality checks will ensure you get the printed label you want at the price you need. We serve industries such as food, product, engineering, travel, automotive and toiletries with all their printed labels.
Whether it is a 1-colour paper printed label or a full colour printed label on synthetic material with a laminated finish and a special fold using a re-peel able adhesive we will be able to produce the right printed label for you.Plain / Thermal Labels
Speed Works can supply your thermal transfer labels and thermal labels, as well as thermal ribbons, for use in thermal label printers at a fraction of the cost of your printer manufacturer.
We have vast knowledge of this thermal label market and can produce high quality thermal labels with a variety of core sizes to fit your machine, dependent on the particular make and model of the thermal label printer you are using. This enables us to pass on large savings to you in comparison with your printer manufacturer – You no longer have your hands tied!!Tags / Swing Tickets
tags or swing tickets is another product we have been offering for years. We can produce plain or printed tags; on basic card, tyvek or robust plastics. We can produce the tags with brass eyelets, stringing, die cut, laminated…whatever you need we can supply tags at extremely competitive prices.Thermal Ribbons
Thermal Ribbons can be a real pain – they’re expensive and they often under perform. However here at Speed Works we love them! The reason? Because thermal ribbons have helped us to create unbreakable bonds with some of our best customers. We have helped them to sort their thermal ribbon headaches by being able to supply a large range of good quality thermal ribbons for use with most makes of printers.
We supply Wax, Wax/Resin and Full Resin thermal ribbons. Just let us know the width and the length required, together with your printer make/ model and we'll do the rest. Most of our thermal ribbons can be despatched immediately.
